Getting Started

Probably the best place to get started is with descriptions of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.  Rather than ask you to get there from the main page, you can simply click on the following words -- "what is schizophreniaor "understanding bipolar disorder." You will find a single page that has each of several phrases underlined.  Each of these phrases is the key to more pages that explain the phrase.  Every time you click on a phrase, you will see the additional information.  You will also notice that a new button will appear at the top of the page called "Up".  This button will take you back to the main scenario so you can get more information of the topic.  There are several of these overview pages on the site. They include:
bullet

Do I need to take my medications?

bullet

How do I know if a person with serious mental illness is getting sick again?
